Dr. Nojan Bakhtiari is board-certified in Orofacial Pain, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain. He manages snoring and obstructive sleep apnea with oral appliance therapy (also known as MADs). Dr. Bakhtiari graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in 2011, after which he completed a General Practice Residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in 2012. Dr. Bakhtiari completed his Orofacial Pain residency as chief resident at NYU Lutheran in 2014. Dr. Bakhtiari is a clinical attending and course director at Yale-New Haven Health, and past assistant professor at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He has presented at regional conferences and residency programs throughout the northeast on the topics of oral appliances for sleep apnea, orofacial pain and temporomandibular disorders (TMJ).
