MARGARITA KAUS - ProHealth Dental

General & Cosmetic Dentistry
  • Education: DDS
My name is Margarita Kaus and I received my Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree from New York University in 1995 in the Honor Roll. I did my residency at Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island, NY and have been practicing dentistry for 25 years. I have been in my practice, EZ Touch Dental, for over 15 years. I belong to a number of organizations: American Dental Association, RADA, International Association of Police Surgeons, Holocaust Survivor Oral Health Program and Coalition of Concerned Medical Professionals. I have devoted my professional career to all aspects of dentistry. To keep abreast of the latest developments in dentistry, I have always exceeded the continuing education requirements of New York, successfully treating patients for a variety of the dental procedures such as fillings, crown and bridgework, extractions, cosmetic dentistry and orthodontic treatment, including Invisalign, where I am a preferred Invisalign Provider. My hobbies include tennis, swimming, jogging and enjoying my free time with my beautiful family.

With the ongoing threat of coronavirus, the American Dental Association has issued a guideline that all elective dental procedures be postponed for three weeks. We have decided to follow this guideline and, thus, will be rescheduling appointments starting the week of April 19.

However, to address any dental emergencies that may arise, we will be maintaining office hours Monday through Saturday throughout our Lake Success, Huntington, Howard Beach, Astoria and White Plains locations listed below.

Please be assured that our offices are being operated under CDC guidelines including screening all patients who pose a risk of having coronavirus.

We will also be available via email ( and telephone (855-PHD-CARE or 718-DENTIST) to answer any questions or address any clinical concerns you may have.

We know these are difficult times and want to do all that we can to fulfill our mission to address not just your dental and oral health needs, but to promote your overall health and well-being.

We thank you for your understanding and look forward to seeing you when we resume normal operations . In the meantime, please do all that you can to stay safe and healthy.
