Norton L. Travis serves as the Chief Executive Officer of ProHEALTH Dental Management, LLC Prior to serving as the CEO of ProHEALTH Dental, Mr. Travis served as the Executive Vice President and General Counsel of an international cancer care company where he oversaw all mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Travis also served as the Project Coordinator and arranged the financing for The New York Proton Center, a $350M specialty cancer care partnership composed of four of the largest health care systems in the New York area. Mr. Travis began his career as a practicing lawyer, having founded a firm in 1980 that grew to become the largest dedicated health care practice in the metropolitan New York area. Mr. Travis served as the Chairman of Corporate Department of the firm and oversaw numerous significant transactions involving hundreds of millions of dollars.
Chief Dental Officer – Business Development
Dr. Neil Karnofsky has over 30 years experience in periodontics and implant surgery. He graduated from Syracuse University and received his dental degree at the New York University College of Dentistry. He completed his residency at Morrisania Neighborhood Family Care Center at Lincoln Hospital and then received his Periodontics Certificate at the New York University College of Dentistry in 1986. Dr. Karnofsky has been at the forefront of continuing dental education throughout his career and routinely presents on topics such as diagnosis and treatment planning, guided implant surgery, perioplastic surgery, as well as immediate placement of implants and placing teeth on them in the same day. He is also a member of the 1st District Dental Society, American Dental Association (ADA), American Academy of Periodontology, North Eastern Society of Periodontists, Academy of Osseointegration, International Congress of Oral Implantology, as well as a founder of the New York Dental Forum.
Chief Dental Officer – Clinical Affairs
Bruce G. Valauri, Board Certified Prosthodontist, is a 1983 graduate of New York University College of Dentistry. He completed his General Practice, Prosthodontic and Maxillofacial Prosthetic residencies at the New York Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in 1987. Dr. Valauri is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics (ABP), a Fellow and Past President of the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP), Fellow and Past President of the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics (GNYAP) and formerly the Director of the Graduate Prosthodontic Residency program at the New York VAMC. He is proud of the opportunity he had to provide Care for our Veterans. Over the past 28 years, Dr. Valauri has lectured nationally and internationally in the areas of implant prosthodontic biomechanics, complete dentures and maxillofacial prosthetics.
Chief Administrative Officer
Gina Schroeter is the Chief Administrative Officer of ProHEALTH Dental. Gina is a key member of the leadership team and is instrumental in the organization’s growth. Gina oversees the administrative management of the corporation and manages the day-to-day operations. Prior to joining ProHEALTH Dental, she was the Chief Administrative Office of ProHEALTH Care Associates. She earned her master’s degree from Columbia University and her bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University.
Director of Clinical Integration & Chair, Medical-Dental Integration Advisory Board
Dr. David Alexander is the newly appointed Director of Clinical Integration and Chair, of the ProHEALTH Dental Clinical Integration Advisory Board. Dr. Alexander is a specialist in Dental Public Health and Community Dentistry having undergone advanced education at the University of London (UK) and National Institute of Dental and Cranio-facial Research (USA) after his initial dental studies. A Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Public Health, he has gained broad experience in many healthcare settings on five continents: military, private and group practice, academia, pharmaceutical industry, publishing & e-Learning, and organized dentistry. He has a global view of oral health and its pivotal place in general health through previous experience as the chief executive of a Geneva-based FDI World Dental Federation, liaising with the United Nations, World Health Organization, World Economic Forum, Gates Fund and other disease-specific global health advocacy organizations such as the World Heart Federation, the International Diabetes Foundation and the World Health Professions Alliance, etc.
Robert Simone serves as the Controller of ProHEALTH Dental Management, LLC.Prior to joining ProHEALTH Dental, Mr. Simone served as the Controller of a large radiology group where he oversaw 11 medical offices with more than $50 million of revenue annually. Mr. Simone has 28 years of experience in accounting and finance. He has strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of business operations and accounting practices. Mr. Simone received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Dowling College.
Director of Marketing
Ms. Gerber is an experienced Marketing and Public Relations Specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital and healthcare industry. Prior to joining ProHEALTH Dental she was the Marketing and Public Relations Manager for a large hospital system where she oversaw all aspects of marketing, public relations and advertising.
Regional Manager of Operations
Catherine Snyder has over 15 years in the dental field, starting as a dental assistant to practice manager to an executive leader overseeing several privately owned dental offices. Catherine has also assisted in dental practice acquisitions and mergers, combining her leadership and entrepreneurial skills. Catherine empowers dental teams to focus on priorities and reach their maximum potential. She has formed a style that enhances the strengths of each practice and eliminates obstacles to encourage excellence, productivity and increased profitability.
